In 2005, homeless services were identified as a significant community need by the Coachella Valley Association of Governments. Since that time, we have partnered with JFS of the Desert to serve homeless individuals in the Coachella Valley. We don't just provide shelter, but also the tools to ultimately live independently. By offering emergency shelter, transitional housing, case management services, placement assistance, Udaily living skills, budgeting instruction, housing placement assistance, and much more, we've helped hundreds of individuals and families get off the streets and transition to self-sufficiency.

Friends of Roy's Foundation was established in April of 2011 specifically to assist in bringing awareness and funding to Roy's Desert Resource Center as well as showing homeless a way back home. Click here to learn more.
